Violetta stands five foot, eight inches tall and looks to be in her early twenties. She has thick black hair which flows down just past her shoulders and frames her angular face. She has a lean and athletic build. Her eyes are a dark brown in color and have a hint of mischief in them. Above her eyes are two thin and narrow eyebrows. She has a fairly short and narrow nose, a mouth that is well shaped and can look very mean or extremely generous, but always looks sensual. An ample pair of breasts rests on her chest. Her eyes are surrounded by dark black eyeliner and her lips are covered with red lipstick.

She is dressed in a tight black fishnet shirt with long sleeves. Under the fishnet shirt is a black spaghetti strap shirt that fits tight against her body, showing off her form. On front of the shirt is a picture of a black cat that has a mouse head in it's mouth with the words: One Mean Kitty written above it. She is also wearing a pair of baggy black pants with red stitching that have dozens of silver zippers places all over them and ends at her mid-calf. They are held up by a neon pink belt that has several silver skulls all over it. On her feet are a pair of white ankle socks and black sneakers that have neon pink shoe laces. A silver chain is hooked to one of her front belt loops and disappears into her back pocket. Around her neck is a silver razor blade that hangs on a silver chain.

Character Details

  • Violetta Ceccoli was born on December 24th, 1987 in Pasadena, CA as the oldest child of Bruce and Mary Anne Ceccoli. Her father was a former heavyweight boxer before retiring and started his new career as a boxing trainer at the Ceccoli Gym in downtown Pasadena and her mother was a bartender and waitress for a nearby dive bar. Her younger sister, Alexis, was born three years after Violet.
  • As she grew up, Violet would go to work with her father and watch him train the various boxers that came in. She loved to watch her father teach the guys, watching him move and passing on his knowledge. The way they moved around the ring seemed like a dance to her. When she turned ten, her father allowed her to step into the ring and start training along side the others. She loved the sport and caught on quickly, seeming to take after her father.
  • When she entered junior high, she started to get into trouble with some of the more popular girls who made fun of her and teased her for being into boxing which they viewed as something a girl shouldn't do. So, Violet did what came natural to her. She defended herself and beat up the other girls. This got her plenty of detentions, suspensions and groundings when she did it. Though her father let her know that he was proud of her for standing up for herself. She earned a reputation for herself as a scrapper and gained a few new friends through the encounters.
  • During her freshman year of High School, Violet's life turned upside down. She was asleep at night when she was having a dream of her flying. When she woke up, she found herself hovering above her bed. Out of surprise, she yelled out and crashed back down on her bed as he parents rushed into the room. As she tried to explain what happened, her parents just wrote it off as a dream and told her to go back to bed. Over the next month, she continued to have the same dream and woke up floating above her bed.
  • As time went on, she gained more control over her ability. She was able to trigger it on command and even control her path of flight. It was also during this time that she started drinking and tried cigarettes for the first time, not really liking the latter too much. She didn't like the smell or the taste of the cigarettes, but continued drinking when she could and her parents wouldn't find out.
  • After graduating from High School, she was accepted to UCLA on an athletics scholarship for boxing and started her new, independent life. She majored in Literature while keeping up with her boxing regiment, finding the time three times a week to go up to her father's gym and train with him.
  • The two talked about her going pro, but her father wanted her to finish college first so that she could have a career to fall back on if she should get injured or the boxing doesn't work out. She also got her first tattoo and was instantly hooked. Within the next two months, she picked up three tattoos while getting her fourth one a few months later.
  • In May of 2006, her second ability manifested itself. She didn't even realize it had manifested until she tried to give herself a piercing using a needle, ice and a cork. When she tried to pierce herself, she couldn't get the needle through her skin no matter how hard she tried. She tried different locations and even tried using pliers to push the needle through, but it didn't work.
  • As time went on, she noticed that she stopped bruising and hurting during her boxing matches, still unable to realize exactly what was going on. She knew that she wasn't stronger than usual, just that she could take a hit a hell of a lot better. After four years of college, she graduated with a degree in English Literature, specializing in 19th century literature.
  • She got herself an apartment close to her father's gym, starting on her boxing career full time. She started getting more and more matches and finally got a few professional bouts as well, making a name for herself in the boxing world. It was in one of these boxing matches that sent her life in another spiral.
  • During her last professional bout, her final set of abilities manifested during the match and she severely injured her opponent who later died from her injuries. She gave up boxing after the match, instead just focusing on helping the family of her opponent and her father's gym.
  • With the passing of the Mutant Registration Act, Violet has tried to keep her abilities under wraps, not wanting to be forced to register. She is actively against the Registration Act and will never vote for anyone who supports the act. She feels it is a violation of her civil rights.
  • Upon arriving in New York, she found herself a job in the Village at a small bar and found herself an apartment, trying to live as much of a normal life as she can.
