&BACKGROUND me=My name is Nichole Erika Thomas and I am not like you. I am a mutant. I have just recently discovered my power. I have the power of teleportation, but I don't know how to control it. It mostly just happens when I get scared or surprised. My parents don't even know about my powers. I don't think that they'd understand. I am seventeen years old and I'm still in High School. I just recently moved here from Chicago. It's kind of a change, but I'm adjusting. I haven't found anyone else like me. I see the news reports and hear all the talk about mutants, yet I still feel alone. No one else knows about my powers except for my closest friends. They think it's cool. Well, perhaps I should tell you a bit about my past.%RI was born on May 16th, 1986 to my mother, Elizabeth Anne Fisher, and to my father, Nicolas James Thomas, in Seattle. My childhood were as normal as any other child at that time. My parents were both very caring and very loving. My mother was a Junior High English teacher and my father was a lawyer for a small firm, Jacoby & Myers. My parents sent me to school when I was only five years old. I was a good student, did well in my studies. Even though I was still hiding within my shell, I did have fun. I met my closest friends, Cleo, Mark, James, Julie, and Abigail. We all quickly became close friends and we pretty much still are.%RMy high school year was the year that I finally came out of my shell. A lot of things changed within the group too. Cleo and James started dating, Julie started acting, Mark started his band "Darker Image", and Abby became a hacker. She also started teaching me a bit about it too. I caught on pretty well. When I turned 16, my parents bought me a 1975 GTO Judge, my dream car, for my birthday. I had a pretty normal life until I was about seventeen. That's when my world came crashing down. It was on March 20th and I got mugged. I was at the ATM getting a few bucks so I could go out later with my friends. Next thing I know, I turn around and I got a gun pointed at my head. The guy demanded my money. As he grabbed for the money, the gun went off. My heart skipped a beat and then suddenly, I was home. I was in my bedroom. I haven't told anyone about that night. %RThree days later, we moved here. It's been hard, but I still keep in contact with all my friends. I've been trying to find someone that I can relate to, someone who can help me out with my new gift. Until then, I just mostly keep to myself. Hopefully, I won't have to for long.

&POWER_ENERGY_SHIELD me=A currently dormant power. The energy shield can only be activated for only a maximum of five minutes at a time. It can reflect any metallic items (i.e. bullets, knives, etc.) and any energy attacks that are stronger than hers. It can extend only five feet high by three feet wide. Once her powers grow, the shield will be able to reflect stronger energy blasts and even physical attacks, such as a punch or kick, and will be able to extend completely around her body in a four feet radius.
&POWER_KINETIC_BLAST me=A currently dormant power. Her blast is based off her kinetic energy and would have the range of causing the same effects of a simple stun gun to that of a grenade. The blast will able to shoot five meters from her and will have the diameter of two feet. She would be able to use this power only for an hour without resting before she will grow very weak and will have to rest for ten hours before she is "fully charged". She is able to hold a blast for only two minutes at a time before she would have to stop. As these powers manifest and grow, they will be able to be used more often with less time for resting.
&POWER_TELEPORTATION me=She can currently only teleport a distance of four square city blocks, but will be able to teleport any where in the world once this power grows. She is able to teleport at any time she wishes, but will need to rest for a half hour. Currently, she can teleport up to two other people or up to two hundred pounds, but she doesn't know how too. She doesn't know what will happen to the other person, so she doesn't do it. The other people will feel a bit nauseous and disoriented as they teleport, but will get use to the feeling after a few trips. She still has the same side effects. %R%T To observers, this power appears to be instantaneous as she disappears in a small cloud of smoke. To those teleporting, they see a quick flash of light as they are transported to a "parallel world" which appears gray and it appears that time itself has stopped. There is a wormhole-like tunnel floating in mid-air before the teleporter. When they step through the wormhole, they zoom through the tunnel to the other side, which also appears gray and frozen in time. There is another flash of light appears as they appear in the new destination. When the teleporter is within the "parallel world", they are able to move around to position themselves to wherever they wanted to reappear. She controls when they disappears and reappear. Currently, she is able to teleport to any place that she has already visited, but later, she will be able to teleport to any place that she thinks of. She cannot land within another mass nor can she teleport a mass into or out of another mass.
&PSYCHE_NIKKI me=Nikki is just an average teenage girl… well sort of. She isn't like everyone else. She has just found out that she is a mutant only a week ago. She is very confused and doesn't know whom she can trust. Because her parents weren't around for most of her life, she doesn't know whom to turn to, and being new to the city isn't helping. Her family has moved here only a couple of days after she found out. The only people who know of her powers are a small group of her friends back home. Now that she has moved, Nikki now mostly keeps to herself, but occasionally finds herself opening up to those people who she feels aren't a threat to herself or to her family. She is hoping to find someone who can help her through these hard and confusing times. Wither she is approached by good or evil is still undetermined.
&CONTACT_CHICAGO me=She a couple of her friends are the band members of "Darker Image" whom have recently been given a recording contract. They are always just a phone call away. Her friend, Abigail Knight, is a hacker that goes by the handle: AbbyNrmL. She was showing Nikki the ropes of being a hacker before she moved. Nikki still keeps in touch with her and is still being taught a few things. Other than that, she mostly has just people whom she can get some information from if she needs. The only contact that she has with these people is via the Internet, a phone call, and through letters.
&SKILL_NIKKI me=Nikki has an above average computer skill. She can use a computer nearly as well as a newbie hacker. She knows how to get around parental controls, blocked sights, and she has figured out a way to get herself free Internet. She can hack into the schools computers and change grades, a few of the small businesses in the city and even into a local television station. She knows how to drive a stick-shift vehicle. Though she can't perform any impressive stunts, she can handle the vehicle at very high speeds. She can also work on a car nearly as well as any mechanic. She can handle a handgun and knows the mechanics of it, thanks to the "gang bangers" that hung around her town. She knows that whatever she points the gun at and pulls the trigger gets hurt.
&RESOURCE_MIDDLE me=Nikki is still living with her mother and father, whom support her while she still attends High School. Her father is a lawyer who but has moved out here to start his own firm. Her mother is a junior high school English teacher. Nikki does have a bank account of her own from the previous jobs that she had before she moved. She has already saved up nearly $900. Her parents bought her a used '75 GTO Judge for her 16th birthday and serves as her only form of comfort and security. She spends most of her time riding around the streets, trying to find herself in a new city.
