&BACKGROUND_1 Mary Annette=%r%tI'm different. I'm not like the others. I'm hated, or kept under a leash. I understand my lot in life. We all have roles to play in life. Mine was to be a puppet, a baby doll, a play thing for the truly enlightened. I suppose I should start at the beginning. I don't remember it, but how it was told to me, I can explain it to you. %r%r%tBefore the Russian's fell to Lennon's communism I was a little girl living in Kiev. My father was a wealthy butcher, my mother helped and I had two brothers and a older sister. I was the baby in the family, and I was special. Too special it seems.%r%r%tThe last memory I have of my old life is playing alone in the woods. It was cold and starting to get dark I heard music and so I went to it. In the back of my mind I can hear my birth mother calling for me, but I wanted to see the music and that's what lead me to servitude to the Blue Fairy.%r%r%tShe was beautiful in blue sparkling dress and magical wings. She took me away from my family and whisked me away to her fairy land. Then things went dark. She made me drink the blood from her wrists. I was her entertainment. She taught me to sing and to dance and made me do it often, for all her little guests I never seen them but they were around at the Fairy's many parties. She educated me in music of piano mostly, and my voice. I learned literature and the arts of things all across the world. As long as I was obedient I would be her treasure her favorite and I would live forever. I was the best little girl I could be.%r%r%tYears went on maybe ten maybe fifteen I never knew, under the obedience of the Fairy. My body as I understood never grew up, nor will it ever. But that wasn't the only horrors.%r%r%tThe Fairy it seems had a lust for innocent blood, and she slew many children to quench it. So many that it caused others of her kind to hunt her, they tracked her down and caused her to flee into the night. She only took me leaving her other toys and pets alone to be discovered. I don't know why she loved me the most, in her wicked wicked heart I still loved her. She as my new mother she fed me, dressed me, made sure I was clean and loved.%r%r%tThings changed when we fled to France, she caught the fancy of a tattoo artist who turned me into their next form of art. When they were done was made to look like a puppet. My arms and legs tattooed with lines, as well as my face. The Fairy explained to me that it was the next step to my true enlightenment. The final step was my embrace. She wanted a companion with her forever a daughter a Fairy Princess for her. She chose me all those years ago and made me learn for just this moment. So one hot night July in Paris I was embraced. I had become a vampire, kindred, an undead doll, twisted version of the innocence my sire craved.

&BACKGROUND_2 Mary Annette=%r%tParis was beautiful, I learned so much there. My sire told me of the life of vampires, that there was a group known as the Camarilla and a group known as the Sabbat. My sire didn't belong to either of them, she was free as she put it and so was I. She explained to me that when she was created her sire left her alone and forgotten she had to learn all about her knew life herself. Most kindred have clans, we did not we were clanless, or in the kindred word Caitiff. Sometimes it would be to our advantage, other times it would be our doom. We had to be careful, created a child is against their rules,so we have to be sure to be on our guard.%r%r%tThe Fairy taught me magic to defend myself in case we were ever caught. One she called Obfuscate it helped me hide. She wanted me to be able to hide anywhere I could go. She taught me to be silent and hidden just like she had lived her life. Every night we would play games I would hide in the city and she had to find me. At first she would find me easily but as I understand what she wanted me to do I hid better. I even got to the point where I could move across leaves with out rising any notice. I could stalk her when she was looking for me.%r%r%tThe scariest training came next when she would beat me over and over again. She yelled me called me a bad dolly, she cut my body and made me feel pain and torture I never imagined. I was broken, I cried. Soon I began to resist, I grew tougher and stronger. It was for my own good, I can resist damage now,but it still hurts my heart. I loved my sire, my mother and her teachings may have been tough but I learned good lessons.%r%r%tThe world around us was starting to unravel. Hitler and his Nazi's had taken Poland and had their eyes set on France. Russia was no good it had fallen under communism and Stalin even had the kinred fearful. So the Fairy went to see her allies in Italy. The outcast family of The Giovanni.%r%r%tItaly wasn't to much a paradise it was once beautiful but the world around us falling into World War, we stayed close to Venice, Italy. The Giovanni were fascinating. They claimed to speak to spirits and ghost.They were more concerned with the money they were making in the war and the spiritual world to care what the kindred did. The Blue Fairy did jobs for them and they owed her favors. She spent a lot of them to keep us in hiding. I'm glad she did, I enjoyed my time with the Giovanni.%r%r%tOur host was Lorenzo Giovanni and his wife Mary Giovanni. He was a kindred and she was his second cousin, they like to keep their relationships n the family. I performed for them, my music kept the entertained. I even performed for a "family function." I adored Mary and she adored me, she looked after me while the Family kept the Blue Fairy busy.%r%r%tI would find out later in my life that the Blue Fairy was a cheap assassin. She would do jobs for the right price. She had been in retirement for some years but when she needed helpt the family called her back into service. While the Fairy was away Mary would care for me as I was her own daughter. Mary couldn't bare children and Lorenzo married her anyway, so I was hers when the Fairy was away. When she returned I was her play thing, her dolly to sing and dance.

&BACKGROUND_3 Mary Annette=%r%tI spent my time between Mary and the Blue Fairy living in complete happiness. The War ended and Europe was rebuilding itself. I was happy in Italy with Mary and Lorenzo and the Fairy. Lorenzo took me under his wing as well and taught me things I would need to know as a kindred. He taught me to defend myself, hiding was good, but there would be chances where I wouldn't be able to hide, and then I would have to stand my ground. He taught me how to hit and to kick and when to use my fangs. He also taught me how to hit harder and stronger. He helped my agility and hired instructors to teach me gymnastics, and tumbling. My dancing background helped but this would make me more incredible.%r%r%tMy happiness would soon end, the jealousy that had grown between Mary and the Blue Fairy was growing out of control. Mary had grown close to me and I to her but my love was still for the Fairy and Mary could not had that. She begged Lorenzo to do something about my sire and have her executed. The Fairy took me and started to leave italy. SHe found it hard to leave as the Giovanni were hunting her down and closing the borders preventing her escape. She did the only thing she could. She staked me placed me in a shipping crate. She closed me up and sent me on my way. I don't know how I ended up in the Americas but I stayed there on a boat. One evening on my journey a sailor opened my crate and pulled the wooden stake out of my chest. He gave me a note from the fairy and offered himself to me. I fed off him and he kept me safe on the ship until we reached the United States. This was the last gift the fairy offered me. I felt her die across the ocean, the bond snapping free and it chilled me to the bones and shattered my heart. Even though she kidnapped me from my home and tortured my body. I still loved her.%r%r%tI stayed hidden in the Americas mostly. I became part of legend and lore in some cities. The child vampire that stalks the streets. Many had hunted me but few could find me. I developed abilities on my own as well, I can look at people and make them obey my wishes. Reading their minds have become easy for me, I imitate people, a tortured little girl is scary at night. They never remember me when they see me, just the way it is.%r%r%tI traveled the country in search for a home, Ive had various mommy's over the years. Nothing like Mary or the Blue Fairy though. I learned about the Camarilla, and often I pose as a Camarilla clan when it benefits me. No clan has offered to adopt me however. Sure there is talk, but that just mommy speak because they love their baby dolls, and promise the moon but rarely deliver. Sometimes I guess I'm too high of a price to pay.%r%r%tMay I can find a place where I can settle. May I can find a family that will love me and a place I can finally call home, a place where I can belong. I'm so tired of running, my resources are running thin. I need to find sanctuary. Perhaps I will find it here.

@Desc Mary Annette=%tWhat a strange child. Likely no more than eight years old she is a pretty little thing. Her hair is a light blonde, just a touch of shimmering gold to it. Bangs cover her forehead, and her hair curls inward at her neck. She wears a red ribbon clipped to the back of her head. Her eyes are a bright blue, and her nose tiny and pert. Her cheeks are a touch on the chubby side, but it is her mouth that appears so strange. Easily curling into a smile, there are two tattooed lines that mark down either side of the corners of her mouth, all the way to her chin. %r %t Her Shoulders are thin and small, her chest completely flat, and her belly just a touch pudgy with baby fat she still hasn't lost. She wears a pink cable link sweater with a black velvet collar and black buttons darting down the front of her chest. Across the bottom of the sweater are matching pink ribbon bows. Her skirt is black velvet with large pleats. She has white stockings and black shiny shoes. Her fingers are very long and slender and have tattoos along the joints with drawn pegs just like a stringed puppet.
