%rLillyana Taeleseisti is a Fire Elven spell singer from the elven realm of Laurelin. She is the youngest of 5 children born into the Taeleseisti Family. Her family is known because of her father, Cronos. He was one of the great heros of the Woodhaven Fire Elves (a sister race to the Elaidar Fire Elves). Lilly's mother was one of the great artists among the village. Though is it unknown to her that she has the blood of a dragon flowing through her veins.%r%r%tThough she was the youngest of her siblings, she had no problem standing out from the others. Not only was she the only female of the five, but she is the only one who is able to use magic. She had learned this at an early age. This had brought a bet of jealousy from her brothers, but they were the pride of her father. They were always the focus of her father's teachings and guidance. She spent most of her times with her mother. Her mother had taught her to nurture and embrace her gifts. No matter how much her brothers had been jealous of her gifts.%r%r%tThe eldest of the five children was Matthew. He was the brawn of the males. He was the one who was always seeking out ways to strengthen himself. Our father had taught him to use a sword and shield, which led him to the path of a warrior. He was very handsome and had been no problem finding a mate. He has gotten married last winter to the daughter of a prominate marchant. They are expecting their first child soon. He has had many of his own adventures, but that is another story. Matthew was always protective of Lilly and her older brothers, but more so of her.%r%r%tThe second eldest was Tyler. Tyler was the trouble maker of the five. He was the one that always was getting into trouble and causing their parents much headaches. He started hanging out with the bad crowd when he was a kid. He had been caught stealing from the merchants and breaking into homes. It's no wonder that he is the Rouge. Lilly's father had casted him out of the family many years ago and she hasn't spoken to him since.%r%r%tThe middle child was William. William was the writer and artist of the family. He was the one that had taken after their mother. He didn't want much in life other than to paint and write. He has stayed in the village and probably will live out the rest of his days there. Their mother has encouraged him to persue his dreams and fulfill his destiny. She did this with all of her children, especially Lillyana.%r%r%tThe second youngest child was Vincent. Vincent was the spiritual one of the children. He has spent his life to the worship of Tuli, which he had pressed upon his siblings. Lilly was the only one of them who has pursued this worship and she continues to pray to her on a nightly basis. Vincent has taken this worship to the next level and has devoted his live to being a clerk of Tuli. He and Lillyana keep in touch on a regular basis and she confides into him at anytime.%r%r%tLillyana's parents had decided to send her to train with the elders of the village to help train her in her gifts. She had moved into the sorcery school they had and began her training. They started her off slowly, teaching her how to summon a sphere of light and then how to manipulate objects to move such as getting brooms to sweep for her and such. As the years passed, she learned how to summon a magical missle against her foes.%r%r%tIt was around this time that Lilly had recieved word that her mother has fallen ill. She immediately left the school to be with her mother and to care for her. Though the elders tried to persuade her against such a move, her stubborness had prevailed and she returned home. She had stayed by her side as her mother had slipped away the following spring.%r%r%tLillyana's fasination has always been with the race of men and those that she calls "The frail races". Being a long-lived elf she has witnessed many comings and goings of human kings and queens. Rarely is there an incident in the human kingdoms of all of Vintermor that provokes interest of an elf, for they are all too short lived and has little influence in the grand scheme of things. This was different with Lillyana. She found their mortality and frailty intriguing. Her family and the rest of the Woodhaven Elves have been living in the Laurelin Forest for centuries. While this may seem a permanent home in the eyes of a human, the Woodhaven Elves have yet to call the Laurelin Forest home. The Woodhaven dream and foresee their race back home in the Eldrose Forest, currently the lands of Verkant.%r%r%tLillyana believes that this dream cannot manifest itself unless she fulfils, what her brother calls, her destiny outside the realm of the Laurelin Forest.%r%r%tHer fate has begun to take shape. She has met and traveled with races other than elves. She has visited the city of Taldara. She has begun a quest to rid the lands of Verkant of the evil Overlord and his minions by forming a party to defeat the Overlord's mistress, but at the price of her very life. Her fate could have ended there as her destiny had been fulfilled, but she, her father, and her new found friends would not have it so. On the surface, Lillyana's new friends took her delicate body out of the evil spire hoping to find a way to bring her back. It was there they met two more fire elves that had been chasing down the party to return Lillyana to her homeland. Upon site of her death, the elves teleported the whole party back to the Woodhaven Forest, bringing Lillyana to her father.%r%r%tAt this time Lillyana had left her body and wandered into the unknown. It was ever bright as she rose into the sky, then complete darkness. Time flowed, colorless forms began to emerge and pass by. A figure in a shimmering cloak of light green approached her and told her that her destiny had been fulfilled. But she did not understand, her people have not returned to their homeland. The Overlord was still ever powerful. The death of the queen was just the beginning to Lillyana fulfilling her destiny.%r%r%t"No! It is not finished!" she shouted. Lillyana felt a surge of anger and dread, her thoughts crystallized around one idea. The power of her will felt as a white hot iron in her mind.%r%r%t"THIS WILL NOT BE!" She felt the words were not spoken so much as imposed on the order of the universe by the force of sheer will.%r%r%tMeanwhile back on the surface Cronos, Lillyana's father had made a pact with Esmara the Oracle. Lillyana may return to this world but she must leave the forest once again. Cronos agreed to whatever brought his daughter back to life.%r%r%tLillyana was in another place. There stood three figures surrounding a large disc of stone. One was a noble-looking man in golden armor and a tunic of blue and white diamond patterns. His eyes had no pupil or coloration other than glowing blue. The next figure was a large powerful man with flowing dark hair and a beard. His eyes were all solid color, only his golden yellow. Between them stood a woman in a light green cloak with red hair. The woman wore a band of cloth wrapped around her eyes. Lillyana immediately noticed the woman as Enaryn, the Fate Scribe.%r%r%tThe scene had changed yet again. She saw her friends, her adventures on the Aziri's Gambit, the fight against the Emir, and the fight against the queen. Weaving throughout and visible to her were eddies of probability, the ripples of chance and the currents of fate. All about she saw the connections and the world seemed to pulse with the subtle dynamics of cause and effects as if it were a huge, single being. Yet, it was all-so… simple. Even a child could understand, she thought. Tears came to her eyes as she felt as though the beauty and simplicity would overwhelm her. Many more things she saw but, later, she could barely remember them, as if it was all merely a dream she had once as a child.%r%r%tA new thread has begun. Lillyana will be as a warp thread, crossing and interlaced with the woof threads, defining the shape of the weave, yet lending no color or pattern. Eventually, she may learn to change the fabric itself.%r%r%tIt was then she had appeared in white robes with her father at her side at a meeting of all the free peoples and her good friends nearby. She vowed to do whatever it takes to see the destruction of the Overlord and his minions, now adapting the look of the rangers to further disguise herself from the minions of the Overlord.%r
