&BG_1 me=Childhood|Lance was born as Robert Laurent on July 9th, 1985 in Paris, France to Anne and Georg Laurent. His parents were very loving and caring parents. His mother was an assistant to the French Ambassador and his father was an art expert at the Magda Danysz Gallery in Paris. He had a very comfortable lifestyle. In school, Robert was a bright student and continued to do well in his studies at the private schools he was sent to. It was there that he first read about Frank Abagnale Jr, one of the greatest conmen to ever live, and he became a hero to Robert. At age seven Robert was diagnosed with having eidetic memory, more commonly known as photographic memory.
@lock me/BG_1
&BG_2 me=Adolescence|When Robert entered high school, he started going to more social events with his parents and came into the limelight that his parents shared. Despite the attention, he started getting into trouble. He managed to get his hands on a fake ID and started working on several online scams that made him a lot of money which he spent on women and other toys. His parents, thinking he was trying to get attention, instead sent him to a boarding school in the United States. It was here that he found out that most of the Americans had no idea who he was and he started conning people at the school. Within a few years, he had branched out to a few of the nearby towns and small cities. He always changed his cons after so long so that people wouldn't get too suspicious of him.
@lock me/BG_2
&BG_3 me=Adulthood|By the time Robert was eighteen, he had little contact with his family and was living in Los Angeles. He was passing himself off as a new graduate from Harvard Business school in Los Angeles to make it rich named Andrew Hall. He managed to get himself a job with one of the largest banks in the city and quickly learned the ropes. Within the first year, he worked his way up the ladder and was handling some of the largest accounts the bank had. Everything was going well for him until he decided to wipe out all the accounts and disappear. Little did he know, someone else had other plans for him.
@lock me/BG_3
&BG_4 me=The Heist|Andrew had setup several accounts off shore in banks that pride themselves on discretion and for not asking too many questions. He waited until a night where he was left at the bank at night, working late and was left with the security guard. Knowing the guard wouldn't bother him, he set to work draining the accounts of the largest customers, he funneled the money into the accounts he had setup. He continuously had the money transferred between accounts, invested in the stock market, reinvested and returned to the accounts in different increments at random times to keep the money moving and cleaned. After he wiped the banks records to cover his tracks, he went to make his escape.
@lock me/BG_4
&BG_5 me=Division|Andrew made his way to the airport and caught a private jet he had rented and headed out of the country. Little did he know, an agency called Division had learned about him and had provided the jet themselves rather than the person Andrew thought he was getting it from. When Andrew awoke, he was in a locked room at Division Headquarters. He was met by a man who didn't give his name and explained what happened, where he was and why. He explained that to the rest of the world, Andrew was dead. The plane he was on crashed in South America with no survivors. Despite not having a choice, Andrew entered training and was specialized in wetwork. The art of killing. When Division felt he was ready, they sent Andrew out on his first mission.
@lock me/BG_5
&BG_6 me=First Kill|Andrews first assignment was in Africa. He was assigned to a Warlord that has come into Divisions cross hairs. He was given the cover as an arms dealer who was there to conduct business with the man, Akiem Nefari. Division wanted it to look like natural causes as to not cause a war between the remaining warlords. He had to stay undercover for three days as to not draw suspicion to himself. When the time was right, he managed to sneak into Akiem's room and injected a solution that replicated a stroke. Once Akiem was confirmed dead, Andrew was returned to Division and given a cover to live under as he awaited the calls.

@lock me/BG_7
&RESOURCES_1 me=Allies|Lance has very few allies that he can truly trust outside of Division. Aside from his associates, he tends to keep to himself if he can help it. He goes out of his way to not make too many friends during his off-duty time. Outside of Division, the only person that Lance can trust is a young woman he met at the bar down the street from his apartment, Rebekah Dresden, a bartender. She knows nothing of his true job and is the closest thing to a true friend that he has.
@lock me/RESOURCES_1

@lock me/RESOURCES_3

He has each identity kept in separate wallets to make quick changes between identities. Most of these were provided by Division, but he has one identity that he got for himself should he need it.
@lock me/RESOURCES_4
&RESOURCES_5 me=Money|Lance has the money that he's earned over his career stashed away in a number of overseas bank accounts, primarily in banks that identify their account holders by account numbers only and has a ton of security. @lock me/RESOURCES_5

In the master bedroom, a high-tech electronic safe room has been hidden and is used to store everything he uses on his jobs that isn't discarded as soon as the job is done such as his identifications, surveillance equipment, weapons and anything else he doesn't want seen by anyone else.
@lock me/RESOURCES_6
&RESOURCES_7 me=Safe Houses|Lance has access to several safe houses throughout the globe that he can use should he need to lay low for a while. These safe houses are protected by state-of-the-art security system that has been provided by Division. Each safe house has a small stash of weapons and equipment that he may need when he is hiding out. Each safe house has a vehicle used for quick escapes. Each safe house has an escape route hidden in the house.
@lock me/RESOURCES_7
&RESOURCES_8 me=Weaponry|While Division provides the requested weapons required for each job, Lance does have some private weapons that he has with him at all times. He is able to bypass a standard tumbler lock in a matter of seconds.
@lock me/SKILLS_7
&SKILLS_8 me=Melee Combat|Because of his job, Lance has been trained in hand-to-hand combat using melee weapons such as knives, bats, batons, staves and other blunt objects. This training came along with his martial arts training.

@lock me/SKILLS_10
&FLAWS_1 me=Desensitized|Over the course of his career, Lance has found it easier and easier to kill another human being. There is times when he even finds himself getting a sense of pride and satisfaction from some of the jobs he was sent on. While he doesn't find this alarming at the moment, he could start to enjoy it more and more as he continues doing his job. Though this could be in Divisions favor.
@lock me/FLAWS_1
&FLAWS_2 me=Division|Lance is a member of Division and, as such, he is at their beck and call. When they call, he jumps and does as he's told. He also is constantly monitored by them and wouldn't be able to lose them without removing the tracking device first. He also knows that if he should go rogue, then he would be hunted down by a company with unlimited resources.
@lock me/FLAWS_2
&FLAWS_3 me=Enemy|Unknown to Lance, and possibly Division, there is a man who is searching for Lance after his son was killed by Lance. He is a very powerful man, but that will still not make things easy for him to find Lance especially if Division finds out first. Lance has no idea how close or how far he is from being found out and lives in blissful ignorance.
@lock me/FLAWS_3
&FLAWS_4 me=Fading Identity|Lance has assumed a large number of identities and has been living under an assumed name for so long that he has found himself sometimes forgetting parts of his real past. @lock me/FLAWS_5
&FLAWS_6 me=Monothanatophobia|Lance has a fear that he has not really shared with anyone as it has surfaced within recent months. After coming close to death several times, he has only recently started contemplating the possibility of him dying alone without having a family of his own. He has not shared this information with anyone including anyone in Division. This has the possibility of going away in the future, but also could potentially cause further distractions for him.
@lock me/FLAWS_6
&FLAWS_7 me=Neat Freak|Lance likes organization and is a neat freak. He keeps everything organized to be easily found and keeps his apartment and safe houses spotless. Upon entering a new hotel room or apartment where he will be staying for longer than a day, he will clean the entire room before he even unpacks. All his items have a place that they go and can tell when something is out of place or missing. This also means that he spends a lot of time cleaning and organizing. He has a hard time entering a dirty place without wanting to clean, but he can resist the urge should he exert enough willpower.
@lock me/FLAWS_7
&FLAWS_8 me=Solitary Life|Given Lance's job, he is always undercover between missions and to prevent anyone from getting close, he has chosen to keep to a solitary life. While he does keep friends and associates, he tries to keep them from getting too close.
