Personality
Tristan is a joker. He loves to play pranks and practical jokes. Some of his pranks at school have earned him the reputation as the class clown. While none of his pranks causes anyone any harm, they can sometimes get out of hand. Overall, Tristan is a good, responsible kid. He is extremely friendly and tends to make friends easily. He is extremely loyal to his friends and those he cares about and will do anything to protected them and make sure that they're safe.
Family
Tristan and his parents have a very loving relationship. He gets along great with his mother and father, but has only recently forgiven his parents for pulling him away from his friends and the only home that he has ever known. He still loves his parents and is very grateful to have the family that he does have. He likes being the only child.
Background
Tristan was born to a pair of unwed teenagers who haven't even yet graduate High School in Dallas, Texas. His parents, though young, decided to keep young Tristan. His early years were rough as they could be and his parents struggled to support their family with the help of his grandparents. Two years after Tristan's birth, his parents finally got married. The years passed quickly, as they often do, and Tristan grew older. His parents managed to build themselves a nice home and a family. His mother started work as a secretary in a law firm and his father became a mechanic. When Tristan was old enough to learn, his father started teaching him about cars and how to fix them. He grew up around mechanics and often helped his father in the shop. Either helping with the customers or lending a hand when someone didn't show up.
Growing up, Tristan had one friend who he spent his time with. Though her name was Ianthe, Tristan called her Violet. Life was good to Tristan, but the same can't be said for Violet. When Ian was twelve, her mother died from a spider bite. Tristan helped console his friend the best he could. It took some time before he managed to get his best friend back to somewhat of her former self. Soon after, Tristan's world was ripped away from him. News came in that his mother was being transferred to a firm in California where she would become a junior associate. His family moved to California that following weekend.
Life continued on for Tristan, now a new resident of Venice Beach. He attended a new school, picking up his French Class. He did alright in his classes, enough to pass. When he turned 16, he got his license and his parents got him a car for his birthday. Then his world changed forever. That's when he discovered his powers. He was out with some friends in the city, enjoying the day when they were crossing the street when he noticed that a large truck was going to run the red light. He pushed his friends out of the way, but as he thought his life was about to come to an end and his eyes closed, his powers kicked in and he passed through the bottom of the truck. As the car passed, he opened his eyes to find he was laying in the middle of the street and alive. Everyone contributed it to quick reflexes and pure luck.
A few days passed before a strange phone call came. Apparently someone who witnessed Tristan's near death experience had been a super and had called a school in Freedom City for students like him. Apparently whoever was on the other end of the phone was very convincing and the next thing that Tristan knew, he was being sent across the country to attend Claremont Academy. A new school and another home ripped away from him.
Staff Notice: Do not say that the character or the characters parents 'researched' or 'checked around' and discovered the school. This is not possible. Characters are generally either exposed as a super in their community, related to a super who is aware of the school, or sought out by the school themselves. The schools true nature is *not* something that can be goggled.

Powers
- What are your characters powers?
- If your character uses tech/devices instead of powers, follow the same template.
Phasing is the ability to cause oneself to have the inability to be touched and the ability to go through solid surfaces. If the aura separates the user’s molecules, the user becomes intangible.
Power Break-Down
Remember to describe all aspects of your powers, breaking it down by aspect. Every effect should be its own power. See http://herohigh.wikidot.com/ex:power for an example.
- Intangibility
- Level: Average
- Tristan is able to manipulate the molecular structure of his body which allows him to become intangible. While in this form, anyone or anything that attempts to touch him will pass through his body. The longer he stays in this form, the more weak he will become until he becomes unconscious. Once unconscious, he reverts back to his solid form. If he is within another object when this happens, there is a chance he could be killed. It's a chance he's not willing to take.
- Intangible Other
- Level: Terrible
- With practice, Tristan will be able to cause other people or other objects to become intangible and allow them to pass through solid objects. In order to do this, physical contact must be maintained.
- Phasing
- Level: Excellent
- Tristan can arrange his molecular structure to allow himself to pass through solid objects. The object he passes through remains unharmed as he just passes his molecules through the spaces between the molecules of the object he passes through. When passing through an object, Tristan is able to see normally, but can not breathe unless there is a source of air within the object he passes through.
Weaknesses
- What are your characters weakness?
Remember that the characters weaknesses MUST balance out their power. Characters that are very powerful must have a equally crippling weakness. Headaches, having to eat frequently, and needing lots of sleep are not going to cut it. See http://herohigh.wikidot.com/ex:weakness for an example.
Weakness Format
- Cold Temperatures
- If the ambient temperature is below 29°F, the molecules of Tristan's body become so compact that he is unable to cause himself to become intangible. Also, if any item is below this temperature level, then Tristan will be unable to pass through the object.
- Heat
- If an object is above 400°F, Tristan will be unable to pass through the object due to a mental block in his mind. He feels that he will burn himself which causes him to not be able to pass through the object. If pressured or in an extreme situation where his life or that of someone he cares for is in jeopardy, he can be pushed past this limitation.
- Need to Breath
- Due to the fact that Tristan is unable to breath while he is passing through an object that covers his head, Tristan is able to only stay in an object with no air only as long as he is able to hold his breath. If he is unable to escape before his air supply runs out, he can suffocate to death.
- Has the character ever saved anyone or anything? Yes. When he found out about his powers.
- How does your character feel about being a super? Since he discovered his powers, his pranks have become the stuff of school legends. He is loving every minute of it.
- What is your characters Alt Identity (Code Name)? He doesn't have one.
Code names are optional unless you intend to app into an organization.
- Will you be applying for any of the following?
If yes, place a ‘Y’ in the brackets. Players should remember that extremely powerful supers will not be applicable for extras.
- [ ] Organization - These are for Next-Gen and Genesis.
- [Y] Vehicle - Modified cars and Normal. See Vehicles for info.
- [ ] Pet - See Pets for info.
These applications will be filled out upon character approval.
