His mother was a washed up showgirl and his father was a degenerate gambler. His father was never home\; always off at the casinos getting drunk\, hitting on the waitresses and sleeping around while his mother spent the nights out on the streets turning tricks\, so most of his childhood was spent alone with the television which acted as the babysitter and role model. When his father was home\, he was drunk and would usually take out his aggression on Damien.%r%r%tWhen he attended classes\, he had done fairly well\, brighter than some of his classmates\, just lacked a sense of motivation. By the time he was sixteen\, he had dropped out of school and started to run the streets\, getting into trouble. His first arrest came at the age of seventeen when he was caught stealing a car. He served two years in jail before he was released to his parents. His father made sure he had a welcome home gift in the form of another beating.%r%r%tDamien had left home\; moving out of state after his probation was over. He had hitched a ride with a friend\, traveling west to California. There\, he lived in San Diego for several years\, doing what he could to survive. He started to deal drugs and perform breaking and entering. By the time he was eighteen\, he had a rap sheet two pages long. On his nineteenth birthday\, his life took a sudden turn. While he was running from the police\, he managed to get the drop on one of the officers on a rooftop\, tackling him to the ground and was able to wrestle away his gun. As he stood there\, holding the gun at the officer\, he noticed the officer standing there\, holding his hand in the same way\, looking confused. The officer was not the only one that was confused. As Damien would move\, the officer would move with him. He used this opportunity to make the officer walk off the roof.%r%r%tAfter that incident\, Damien was eager to experiment with his new found abilities\, figuring out that it works only if he has something that belonged to the target. With his new found abilities\, he started to use other people to commit the crimes that he would have done himself while keeping himself out of the heat. When he turned twenty-three\, he had caused someone to perform a break in at a jewelry store\, but unknowingly\, his puppet was the daughter of the chief of police. Fearing that the heat would come back to him\, he packed up and headed east\, stopping to commit a burglary or a hold up whenever he was short of money. He eventually found himself in New York City\, the city with an endless supply of puppets and opportunities.%r

@DESCRIBE me=%r%the Master Bedroom is fairly large and provide ample space throughout the room. The flooring is made of solid oak with a large oriental rug near the foot of the king size waterbed. A pair of end tables sit on either side of the bed with several magazines and books on them. At the foot of the bed a metal foot locker sits with a lock on it. Several painting from artists throughout the past hang on the walls throughout the room.%r%r%tA window-like cutout the same width as the bed frame centers above the bed to lend visual importance — plus sneak peeks at the night sky or the morning sun via skylights above the bed. The ends of the cutout stair step over a pair of sconces that serve as reading lamps without requiring table space. In the ceiling above the bed is a fan that also provides lighting for the room. A large wooden dresser sits against the far wall. In one of the corners of the room a black bass guitar rests on a stand next to a large electronic amplifier. Neatly organized bookshelves sit along the back wall and a television is placed directly in front of the bed. In each of the corners near the ceiling are small speakers. Against the south wall is a large window that gives off a breath-taking view of the city when the blood red crushed velvet curtains are opened..%r

Damien has an issue of control and derives satisfaction from watching others act against their will. He will use his powers to get what he wants and does not care who he has to use in order to get them. He has come to associate those he controls as puppets and often refers to them as such. He is unable to effect technology\, other non-organic items\, and those who have died. They all three lack a mind and soul in order to make a body react accordingly. Animals can only be effected to a certain point\, but a higher level of understanding is needed while plants are also living things\, but they have no mind to help achieve a full possession.%r%r%tDamien is only able to create a mental connection if he has an object that has once belonged to the subject he wishes to make a puppet. While he does not have to be near the person\, he must be able to see the target and physically carry the object that belonged to the puppet. This can be in his hands or in his pockets.%r

In order to do so he must act out the movements that he wishes the puppet to perform. In order to control someone’s movement the target must be in line of site and a Control Puppet roll is needed with a minimum success of GOOD is needed.%r|harm puppet=Once a connection has been made Damien can cause harm to his puppet. In order to do this he must perform the act he wishes to cause on himself. Cut his arm place his hand over a fire hit himself etc. When he performs these acts Damien is able to cause the target to use things in their environment to cause them harm like mimicking putting his own hand over an open flame that isn't there while the target puts their own hand over an actual flame that is present. To do this a roll of Harm Puppet is needed with a minimum success of GOOD.|puppet connect=%r%tDamien is able to control people's actions. He has a greater understanding of his powers and more control over them. In order to make a mental connection he must have an item that has once belonged to to the subject that he is wanting to control and the target must be in line of sight. Once he has the object he must roll Puppet Connect and get a minimum success of AVERAGE. The higher the success the better of a connection is made.%r
