The Cullens moved to Forks in the early year 2000, their children starting up at School later that same year. Life was peaceful, they lived their lives amongst the humans like many vampires have to do, but with a different spin. It wasn't until year 2004 that Forks started to get interesting. The arrival of Bella Swan heralded many changes for Forks and the surrounding area, as with the time that Edward Cullen fell in love with the humans, a number of supernaturals started to come to pass… and stay. Werewolves started coming out of the woodworks, Shifters began to become awakened, and the Vampire community increased by a large number.
Of course.. the humans don't know this. Times went onward with many silent battles fought for the sake of peace and keeping their supernatural secret, James was killed, a year later his mate Victoria followed his fate. Others that came to stir the pot were put to rest by another force, or came to live in relative peace with the strange hub of supernatural activity.
The focus of this large group started to spread to Port Angeles in early 2006, even further increasing the ratio of supernaturals against the humans in the area. Late 2007, the Volturi started to take action against the indiscretions of vampires in the area. They took up a temporary headquarters in Port Angeles, rumored to be two of the three ancients that were there for a time, one for a good portion of the duration. Only the Volturi and a small number of Vampires know if this was true or not. Early 2008, however, it seems the ancient vampiric royalty was satisfied, and returned to Volterra, Italy, but they left in their wake a number of Volturi to act as the Supernatural police to make sure that things don't get out of hand in the future.
Thankfully, things were quiet for nearly two years, the missing persons died down to a low minimum even for human activity, the deaths have been few as well. At least, nothing out of the ordinary. However, it is now year 2010, and with the new year brings new possibilities. Will the Supernaturals invoke another looming Volturi presence? Will a war break out between the factions?
